Moriwaki Pillion Peg Relocation

for Slip-Ons or Full System Moriwaki Exhaust

If you have a set of the Moriwaki Slip-Ons or the Full-System exhaust, you know that you lose the rear pillion pegs when you install the pipes.  This is not that big of a deal, because the RC51 is a terrible 2 up bike.  However, there are a few times that it would be nice to put that hottie on the back and take for a spin on the bike.  Help has now arrived.

I had planned on making something like this from the start, but just never got around to it.  These are very easy to install and work quite well.  They are made from T-6 Aluminum or Stainless steel and simply mount in between your Moriwaki mount and the frame.  It pushes the pipes out about 1/4", but it is very hard to notice.  Once installed, they fold up real nice under the can.

It appears that your passenger may burn their shoe on your nice titanium cans, but thats not the case.  The 2 stainless steel bands that hold the can act as "protectors" for the cans.  If the person's shoe was going to hit the can, they keep it from melting or scratching it.  My wife and I have taken a couple of trips with these, and she has had no problems at all with her feet hitting the cans.  She tries to keep them on the outside of the foot pegs to help.  This has worked great so far.

Seating position for the passenger is less than desirable as expected.  But is certainly good for a 30 minute run somewhere.  Much longer, and the passenger gets agitated as well as the driver.
